Privacy Policy

The short version

Your spreadsheets never leave your browser. We don't see them, store them, or sell them. There is nothing to leak because we never receive your data in the first place.

What happens to your files

All SheetSweep tools (Cleaner, Converter, Validator, Merge, Split, Compare) run entirely in your browser tab, on your own device. Your files are not uploaded to our servers. We do not see, copy, store, or sell the contents of your spreadsheets — or the files you download.

What we don't collect

• We do not collect the contents of your files.
• We do not build advertising profiles.
• We do not sell personal information. Period.
• We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Stripe. When you buy Pro, Founder, or Lifetime, Stripe collects your email address and payment information to complete the charge. We do not see or store your full payment card numbers. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). We receive only what we need to confirm your purchase (such as your email and which plan you bought).

Pro access cookie

When you buy a Pro plan, we store a small signed cookie (ss_pro) in your browser so the site remembers your purchase. It contains only your plan type and the email from your Stripe checkout, nothing else. Deleting it just signs you out of Pro on that device; use Restore access to get it back.

If you contact us

If you email support@sheetsweep.com, we receive whatever you choose to send us, and we use it only to respond.

Accounts

SheetSweep currently has no user accounts and no sign-up. If we add accounts in the future, this policy will be updated before that launch to describe exactly what account information is handled and why.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages securely. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Children's privacy

SheetSweep is intended for users 18 and older (see our Terms of Service) and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
